Leslie recently got back from NJ and today gave me the Ralco Short Throw Shifter (STS) Kit for the Genesis Coupe that I ordered and had delivered to him. It’s a complete kit containing a well-machined shifter (a very good copy of TWM Performance’s STS), a shiny height-adjustable shift knob (not gonna be installing this as I prefer the stock knob), shift boot retainer, and all the necessary nuts and bolts. Can’t wait to have it installed!

The Black Knight Cometh
When we were kids, James and I would play for hours and hours with our Lego bricks. One of our imaginary characters were Black Knight and White Knight, leaders of a motley band of adventurers who roamed the land, besieged and defended castles, fought dragons, and other such things you would do in the fantasy land of kids.
Several years ago he got a white Nissan Sentra B13 and soon after I also got a white Nissan Sentra B14, our White Knights. Two years or so back, he shifted to a black Honda City while my White Knight soldiered on. But today, after a long wait, I finally got my own Black Knight, a Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T BK! Yay’s the word!
2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe
On my way from Servitek, I dropped by a Hyundai dealership along the way. I checked out the Genesis Coupe on display and I noticed that it seemed different from the one I saw last Saturday. This got me curious and, after a few minutes of searching, I learned Hyundai has come out with the 2011 model year Genesis Coupe.
